Located in the heart of the industrial belt, the Florence, KY branch of Conductix-Wampfler was established in 1974 as “Wampfler Inc USA” to service the North American marketplace. The dedicated staff at this location focuses on the specialized fields of mobile electrification, safety products, automation, and handling solutions. The facility includes a 40,000 sq. ft. warehousing and distribution center.
In May of 1998, Wampfler acquired Howell Corporation, a well known conductor bar manufacturer with established brands such as Saf-T-Bar, C-bar, and H-Bar. These additional bar products perfectly complemented Wampfler’s already extensive line of energy supply solutions. Howell bar continues to be made at Conductix-Wampfler’s Harlan, IA facility.
In January of 2007, Wampfler AG was purchased by the Delachaux Group (Paris, France) to enhance Delachaux’s “Conductix” operations. Wampfler locations worldwide have merged with the corresponding “Conductix” branch locations to form Conductix-Wampfler. The combined company now boasts the world’s broadest line of energy and data transmission systems.
The support staff in Florence handles primarily products made by Conductix-Wampfler Germany and markets several other high performance product lines to the US industrial markets.
As Conductix-Wampfler continues to grow, we are committed to providing excellent engineering solutions that meet the needs of our customers and customer service reflective of our rugged, time-tested products.
